Course Title: Aviation Quality Management System

Why QMS in Aviation?

Application of quality management principles has grown over time. Organizations that have incorporated QMS principles within their business process including strategy, have demonstrable cases of success attributable to their QMS strategy. More specifically, QMS has enabled aviation entities improve their levels of compliance to both national and international civil aviation requirements. QMS is indeed an enabler of safety. At the end of this course, participant will have adequate knowledge, skill and attitude to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate a QMS in any organization within the aviation industry.

Mode of training

This is a classroom delivered course that integrates formal lectures, individual and group practical exercises to give the participants adequate knowledge, skills and attitude required to plan for, develop and implement a QMS

After the training, the participants will be awarded with a certificate of successful completion upon attaining a pass mark of 70%

  • The participants should be process supervisors or have responsibility in process implementation and/or oversight.
  • QMS Implementers (Process owners in ANSPs, AOCs, AMOs, ATOs and CAA-Inspectors),
  • Those with interest in QMS or becoming auditors for aviation entities
